Factitious

An occasional series in the spirit of Beachcomber’s “Dictionary for Today”.

Factitious – Meaningless statement that sounds like a fact.  Often found on cereal packets.  For example – “An electric eel can power 10 light bulbs”.  Simultaneously? For what duration?  In total, over it’s lifetime? What wattage?
